Through the years, my DH of 43 years and I have lived from the west coast to the east coast and several places in between.  In 1992, we moved to Jacksonville Beach, Florida.  Until 2008, I taught Physics and Chemistry here in Jacksonville.  In 2008, I retired. Haven’t missed it yet and still don’t have enough time to get everything done. I had become an ardent fan of machine embroidery during my last years of teaching.  Since then,  I have avidly pursued the hobby, embroidering about everything I can lay my hands on (not too hard to do as one of our hobbies is historical re-enactment and re-creation.)  I decided it was time for me to put science and art together and learn to digitize.  There is a plethora of digitizing to do for medieval re-creation. I find myself looking at scenes and pictures and life in general and see designs that could be digitized.

I hope you will enjoy searching Northwind Designs and Northwind Designs Yahoo Group to find those excellent samples of the digitizers participating in the Hunt.

This is a picture of Pat in one of her medieval costumes, isn't she very realistic looking?  Looks like she stepped right out of time.  How fun!

Check out the beautiful machine embroidery designs on her costume!  Great job Pat.

Hope you enjoy getting to know Pat Webster through the hunt!
