Welcome to a new concept regarding hunting embroidery designs. The first DFH was in November, 2007. Since that time we have given away over 1,000 sets of designs.
We love doing this but due to tough economic times we are having to rethink giving away so many designs sets.
After a long thought process I have made a decision regarding the future of this the largest hunt for embroidery designs on the web and the longest running hunt as well.
It is necessary for income to be generated for the websites to stay open for business. Too many have hunted our sites over and over and never purchased a design from any of us, only taken the designs we give away.
This new concept has many purposes but what it will do is to give us the ability to provide better designs to give to those who are serious about hunting for them.
Effective March 1, 2011, it will be necessary to purchase a membership which will give you a code that allows all designs to be downloaded.
There are several options available:
1. Pay $5 a month and get the code for the designs. Options are monthly, quarterly and annual payments of the membership, since we are beginning in March, the first "year" will have 10 months in it.
2. Pay $3.50 a month and get the full set of locations of all the designs on all sites. Options are monthly, quarterly and annual payments of the membership, since we are beginning in March, the first "year" will have 10 months in it.
3. Pay $7.50 a month and get the code for the designs and the full set of clues after the 15th of the month. Options are monthly, quarterly and annual payments of the membership, since we are beginning in March, the first "year" will have 10 months in it.
4. Pay $10 a month and get the designs in full zips with no need to hunt for them, they will be available to all who purchase this option through either an email with links or drop box, whichever we use.
This is not intended to prevent anyone from hunting, what it is intended to do is to provide the option for this to be a win-win situation between the digitizers and the hunters.
Depending on how many memberships we sell, we will give away 10% of the total in memberships to those who are truly needy. Contact me for information regarding the criteria to meet this at designfesthunt@gmail.com.
I have received a lot of feedback on the design fest hunt, what you see now are actually options suggested by many of the hunters to ensure this hunt is able to continue.
